MesajComic-Con Friday, July 23

Friday at Comic-Con this year will be fool of some of biggest new shows of the year. Whether you're into dinosaurs, super heroes or the zombie apocalypse, Comic-Con has you covered. You can also check out panels for two TV shows with great fans, Bones and True Blood.

But all of that could be overshadowed by a movie panel for The Green Hornet, which could be pretty amazing, especially since it's directed by the guy who made Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Check out my best bets for Friday panels.

10:15am: Hawaii Five-O
It might not seem sci-fi, but you take executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Fringe, Alias, Star Trek) and add stars Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) and Grace Park (Battlestar Galactica), you get some of the biggest Comic-Con figures in recent years all in the same room.

11:30am: The Walking Dead
AMc's newest series is based on a graphic novel about the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. It's doesn't sound like something you'd expect from the people who brought you Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but it does sound incredibly awesome.

11:30am: Caprica
Creators Ronald D. Moore and David Eick will be on hand to talk about the BSG prequel series.

12:45pm: The Big Bang Theory
Other than the fact that this show is freaking hilarious (and was robbed of an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series), there's one reason to attend this panel: moderator Wil Wheaton. I encourage everyone attending to sport "Wesley Crushers" bowling shirts.

2pm: Bones
Creator Hart Hanson and star David Boreanaz will be there to talk about season 6 and most likely answer a ton of questions about Booth and Bones' relationship.

2:15pm: The Cape
A new mid-season NBC series about a cop framed for murder who adopts the alias of his son's favorite super hero, the show stars Summer Glau, which is one surefire way to guarantee your Comic-Con panel will be standing-room only.

3pm: The Joss Whedon Experience
Forty-five minutes of a Joss Q&A is awesome, especially since there's no actual premise or show to get in the way.

3:30pm: Terra Nova
Imagine if Land of the Lost and Jurassic Park had a TV baby. That's what this Steven Spielberg-produced mid-season FOX series is, so getting to see any possible footage would be worth it.

4pm: The Other Guys and The Green Hornet
Yes, these are movies, and The Other Guys looks pretty terrible (probably because I can't stand Will Ferrell), but this is all about The Green Hornet. Directed by mad genius Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and starring Seth Rogen and Inglourious Basterds Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, this could be incredibly awesome.

5:15pm: True Blood
The best vampire soap opera on TV returns to Comic-Con with AnnA Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Joe Manganiello, Nelsan Ellis, Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Deborah Ann Woll and Kristen Bauer van Straten all in attendance.

6pm: Archer
Creator Adam Reed and actress Aisha Tyler will be on hand to talk about this incredibly funny animated FX series which you need to see if you haven't already.
